Emily Ratajkowski

American actress and model Emily O'Hara Ratajkowski is a 7 June 1991, native. Born in London to American parents and was raised in San Diego, she first appeared on the cover of March's issue of the sexually explicit magazine, treats! This led to her appearing in two music videos: Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (the number-one track of 2013 across several countries) and Maroon 5's "Love Somebody". Ratajkowski was featured in both the 2014 and 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. In 2015, she made her runway debut modeling alongside Marc Jacobs in New York Fashion Week. She has since been on the Paris Fashion Week runway for Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace runways. Ratajkowski starred as the Buick Super Bowl advertisement (2016). Since then she has served as the spokesperson for many brands such as DKNY. Kerastase. Paco Rabanne. Ratajkowski started acting in San Diego as a child. She then was a regular role on Nickelodeon's iCarly (2009–2010). Her feature film debut was in the role of the lover of Ben Affleck's character in the 2014 film Gone Girl. She has also appeared in the films Entourage (2015). We Are Your Friends (2015). I Feel Pretty 2018 and Welcome Home (2018). Her miniseries The Spoils Before Dying (2015) and the anthology series Easy (2016). Ratajkowski is an advocate for women's health issues as a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood. A self-described feminist, she has faced both criticism and praise for her opinions on sexual expression. Ratajkowski was exposed in her early times to the naked female image in photography and art as well as that of her father and the photography of Helmut Newton or Herb Ritts. She once said, "We have a culture of males, especially watching pornography. But then [they] are offended [by a nude portrait or photograph. But I've never felt this way." Her work was also influenced and was influenced by feminist thinking of the third wave and works such The Beauty Myth and Promiscuities of Naomi Wolf.
