gained fame as a member the cast of Saturday Night Live. After that, Ferrell
starred in a variety of other comedies on the big screen, including 'Elf,’
'Anchorman', and 'Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was a Los Angeles-based
comedian who was born in Irvine in 1967. After his seven-year stint as a
Saturday Night Live Cast Member, Ferrell was one of the most popular comedians
in the business through off-color hits such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman:
The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell also co-founded the popular
streaming website Funny or Die, and enjoyed the success of a voice actor in
animated films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in
Irvine, California on July 16, 1967. Will Ferrell is the oldest child of
Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), but he wasn't
exactly the class clown while his time in University High School. A quiet and
solitary person, Ferrell chose to make his mark on the field of football and
set a school record for the most field goals he scored. Ferrell did not display
the outrageous, funny outbursts that would define him later on in his career,
even though he lived in suburban comfort.
