Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16 1987, is an American comedian and actress. She was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. Since then , she's played in the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as on the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the child of actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the elder of two children , and was born in New York City. She is the daughter Paula Niedert, a talent coordinator, and Chris Elliott, an actor/comedian. Her grandfather was Bob Elliott (radio comedian). She is the younger sibling of actress Bridey Elliott. Both of them were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended high school at Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she acted in school plays and musicals. After graduation from Immaculate High School in 2005 she was accepted into Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out in her first semester .In 2010 Elliott had a romantic relationship with the fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. They broke up in September 2011. On September 3, 2016, Elliott was married on September 3, 2016 to Bill Kennedy, a television writer. Edith Pepper Kennedy is their daughter. Elliott was a student at The Groundlings and eventually began doing training and appearing in different sketch comedy shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles.
